About Simon
I started my career assisting Rankin — one of the UK's most celebrated photographers — before building 25 years of experience shooting celebrities including Dannii Minogue, Rochelle Humes and Lucy Fallon, with editorial work in Marie Claire, Dazed & Confused and The Times. I also founded Hey Girl magazine, now in its eighth year.
I teach photography the way I've always worked — with a friendly, hands-on approach built entirely around what you want to achieve. Whether you're picking up a camera for the first time or wanting to develop your own creative style, I'll tailor every lesson to your goals. In person in Brighton or online — all levels welcome.

I take a friendly, real-world approach to every lesson — starting from wherever you are and building the skills you actually want. From understanding your camera basics right through to studio flash lighting, I'll teach you the techniques that matter to you and show you how to apply them straight away in your own work. Every session is tailored to you, at your own pace.
