Hi, I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Piano Emphasis. I’ve had the joy of working with students of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to advanced and professional players. My teaching covers a wide range of pianos, including Grand, Player, Digital, Upright, Classical, Electric Keyboard, and Acoustic Piano. I specialize in chord theory, ear training, sight reading, and improvisation, helping students become well-rounded and confident musicians. My approach is student-centered, meaning each lesson is tailored to your goals, pace, and learning style. Whether you're a school student exploring piano for the first time or an adult professional returning after years, I design lessons to fit your musical journey. I place equal importance on technique, musical expression, and creativity. We focus on strong foundations while also making room for exploration and joy in music. I’ve guided learners through performance prep, music exams, and even personal creative projects. No matter where you start, there’s always room to grow. In my piano lessons, I combine structured music theory with listening skills and expressive playing to help students grow with confidence. I believe learning music should be both clear and creative. That’s why I mix traditional methods with playful rhythm games, movement activities, and modern tools to keep each lesson fun and fresh.

We explore music through hands-on exercises, ear training, and pieces that match your style and level. Whether you're learning to read sheet music or create your own songs, I guide you step by step. I also support students who love to compose or produce music by teaching them how to connect piano skills with creative ideas.

Together, we focus on timing, touch, and emotion to bring the music to life. I use rhythm games and body movement to make learning rhythm natural and enjoyable. Lessons are shaped around each student’s interests, helping them build strong musical habits in a fun and engaging way.
