About Eddie

Eddie is an enthusiastic teacher who has built a passion for music over 13 years of playing experience. While his classical-based training displays his advanced knowledge of piano technique and musicality, his multifaceted passion for music has allowed him to formulate a wide-palette of musical knowledge and interests. From playing classical music to improvising jazz (amongst other genres), Eddie’s flexibility in music highlights his scope of interests, transcending to his genuine passion for teaching and sharing his love for music. His enthusiasm in music has allowed him to perform at the top of his HSC cohort at school, receiving Band 6s in both Music 2 and Music Extension (49/50), as well as a HSC ENCORE nomination for his performance. He currently holds AMEB certificates from Grade 8, Certificate of Performance (CmusA), and Associate Diploma (AmusA). Eddie has taught a diverse range of students and skill sets, as his adaptive and creative, individual-focused solutions have seen their success amongst many. His genuine passion to share his love for music has embedded a continuous joy for teaching others!

About the lesson

My lessons are flexible and structured to each of my student’s individualistic needs, tailoring to their long-term and short-term goals. Whether you’re starting as a total beginner, embarking through your AMEB journey, or seeking a more leisure musical journey - I’ve got you covered. Why my teaching method works: → I have a guaranteed long-term roadmap for every student, in order for my students to be on the same page with personal growth and progress → I develop specific practice techniques for each student, training them to address their areas of weakness individually in order to establish a solid foundation - practicing smart, not hard. I like to find creative strategies to teach according to the student’s personality and learning style → I work with my students every step of the way in their musical journey, setting achievable goals each lesson so the student is capable of achieving their best → I want my students to make the most out of every lesson. I love to learn from my students, which helps me analyze their playing behavior and technique quickly → I bring my passion to each lesson, aiming to instill a sense of enjoyment within each lesson.
