Perfect! Right away, my introductory meeting with Victoriya revealed a handful of qualities I was looking for in a piano tutor. She was warm, personable, and patient. She took the time to understand my questions (even when I wasn't very clear.) Her introduction to a musical concept was easy to understand. Plus she followed up with some worksheets on that topic right after our session. During our lesson, I had asked about the difficulty of a piece she hadn't seen and she was able to give me an immediate assessment, along with her reasoning. I was impressed also by her description of how she fully personalizes her lessons to meet a student's capabilities. I had booked a lesson with her on the basis of her performance video and her complimentary reviews. I came away understanding why she has so many fine reviews.

Perfect! I've had my first lesson with Victoriya and it was excellent.

I had narrowed my choice to three teachers and while, on paper, they were all equally skilled and would likely have provided a high level of teaching, I chose Victoriya due to her professional image and her playing abilities (check out the videos... you'll see!).

She had sent me a piece of music a few days before my first lesson to give me a push. It was at the perfect level for me and while clearly challenging, wasn't way above my abilities.

During the lesson, I played what I had learned and immediately she spotted issues: hands, expression etc. It was all stuff I would never have spotted on my own as I wasn't even aware I had issues with them: self-learning only gets you so far!

A teacher is invaluable while learning and you would do well to have Victoriya. She is warm, skilled, and clearly passionate about piano. She has an excellent manner.

I have no issue recommending her to others.

Perfect! Victoriya just started teaching piano (online) to my son (age 11, learned piano for a year and had a gap of year to put things into context). She gave two lessons so far. I'm very happy to say that it has been a pleasant experience. She has been responsive from the get go and setup lessons quickly. She seems to have all the good qualities for a instructor: friendly, patient, easy to understand, explains clearly, provides encouragement and suggestions. Most of all, when I asked my son, he gave her 5 star and said he is enjoying the lessons. To me, that's the most important factor.

Perfect! Victoriya is such an extraordinarily talented musician and a very gifted teacher. She knows her craft well, and does an excellent job conveying her knowledge in a way that helped me break some music leaning obstacles that I have had for years. Victoriya is incredibly thorough as she conveys concepts. I actually was very hesitant about online lessons, but after sessions with her, my mind has changed.
