About Ali
I am a dedicated father of two with a degree in business. I have learned Quran from the very best teachers at the prestigious Masjid Jamia Farooqia.
*How I Teach the Quran – A Personalized and Heart-Centered Approach*
Individual Assessment First:
Before we begin, I take time to understand each student's background, current level, and learning pace. Whether you're a complete beginner, a young child, or someone revisiting Quran after years, I meet you where you are. I assess your recognition of Arabic letters, pronunciation skills (Tajweed), and any memorization you've already done.
Customized Learning Path:
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all method. Your lessons are tailored to your level, goals, and comfort. If you're a revert or new learner, we start with Noorani Qaida or basic Arabic phonetics for strong foundational understanding. If you're advanced, we may focus more on Tajweed rules, fluency, and memorization strategies. ️
Emphasis on Correct Pronunciation (Tajweed):
Pronouncing the Quran correctly is a spiritual responsibility. I gently guide students in applying Tajweed rules without overwhelming them. I break down complex rules into simple concepts, with real-life examples and repetition to master them naturally. ️
Friendly and Encouraging Environment:
Learning the Quran is not just academic—it’s spiritual and emotional. I create a respectful and calm environment that motivates rather than pressures. I encourage questions, patience with mistakes, and celebrate even small progress. Fluent Communication in English and Urdu: I ensure clear communication in both English and Urdu for better understanding.
For foreign students, I explain Islamic terms and concepts in simple English. For Urdu-speaking students, I switch to their native tongue for deeper clarity.
Practical and Spiritual Lessons from the Quran:
Alongside recitation, I share short Tafsir and life lessons from what we read. Students learn the meaning and message behind the verses. This makes Quran learning meaningful, not just mechanical.
Regular Reviews and Feedback:
I keep track of your progress with regular reviews. Revision sessions ensure memorization is retained and improved. Constructive feedback helps you grow without feeling judged.
Flexible Online Schedule:
I offer flexible online classes suited to different time zones. Whether you're in the US, UK, Canada, or Gulf countries, I work around your convenience. Classes are held over Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp video—your choice.
Great for Kids, Teens, and Adults:
My teaching method is adaptable for all age groups. For children, I use visual aids and fun repetition to make learning enjoyable. For teens and adults, I incorporate deeper discussions and goal-based learning.
Patience, Consistency, and Du'a:
I believe in teaching with patience, praying for every student, and inspiring love for the Quran in their hearts. My goal isn’t just to teach—it’s to build a lifelong bond between you and the Book of Allah.
