Hello!
I'm a native Japanese-speaking university student currently studying abroad at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in Scotland.
Have you ever learned a Japanese phrase from a textbook and wondered:
"How do people actually use this in real life?"
"Do Japanese people really speak like this in everyday conversations?"
If so, let's explore those questions together!
My lessons focus on conversation and practical Japanese that people genuinely use in daily life. From common everyday expressions to modern trends and phrases used by young people in Japan, you'll be able to experience the natural side of the language that textbooks often don't teach.
We can also talk about topics that interest you, such as anime, Japanese culture, daily life in Japan, student life, travel, music, and more. Lessons can be tailored to your goals and interests.
Beginners are more than welcome. If needed, I can explain concepts in English, so you can learn at your own pace and feel comfortable asking questions.
I have achieved IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 885, and Eiken Pre-1, allowing me to support learners in English as well.
As a current university student, I enjoy sharing insights into modern Japanese culture and everyday life. My goal is to help you not only study Japanese but also use it confidently in real conversations.
