About Dayana

Hello! I’m a native Spanish speaker from Ecuador with a strong passion for languages and education. I’ve worked as a preschool teacher and as a nanny both in Ecuador and the United States, where I’ve spent the last two years caring for children and helping them learn through everyday communication. My classes are especially suited for beginners, children, and English-speaking students who want to learn Spanish in a fun, simple, and supportive way. I use real-life situations, visuals, and games to make every lesson interactive and enjoyable. I’m currently studying English in the U.S., which gives me a better understanding of the challenges that come with learning a new language. That’s why I always teach with patience, empathy, and creativity. I don’t pretend to be perfect, but I do promise to teach with care, dedication, and heart.

About the lesson

As a Spanish tutor, I focus on creating a warm, supportive space where students feel safe to speak and learn naturally. My teaching method is communicative and interactive, combining games, visuals, and real-life examples to make each lesson engaging and effective. I believe learning should be fun and practical, especially for beginners.

A typical class includes a short review, vocabulary introduction, interactive practice, and simple conversation. I adapt my materials based on each student’s age and goals, whether it’s basic conversation, grammar, or pronunciation.

What sets me apart is my background in language education and my experience teaching kids and teens, both in Ecuador and the U.S. I’m patient, creative, and I love seeing my students grow in confidence. My classes are ideal for English-speaking children between 6 and 12 years old, but I also work well with teens and beginner adults.
