About Jenn

I am a student of teachers of Spanish as a foreign language, for more than 5 years I have given private classes to other young students who have not had good experiences with other teachers. In addition, I am a passenger cabin crew so I have a lot of experience dealing with people with no knowledge of Spanish or English.

About the lesson

I think that using the same methodology for every student is a mistake too many teachers make when it comes to teaching, since students are different, have different ages, different cultures, with different mother tongues, clearly what can work for one, can be useless for another. Having said that, the methods I use most often in my classes consist of: Direct or natural method. It is where learning is done through direct oral communication. It is, if you think about it, the method we use when we are children to learn the mother tongue. We talk, we listen, we err, we repeat, we do not learn grammar but we intuit it or we deduce it, and in the end we end up speaking the language correctly. Audio-lingual method It is based on the repetition of words, phrases or dialogues. The students learn, in this way, to speak and listen, leaving for when the knowledge is acquired, the skills of reading or writing. Communicative approach. It is a method that puts special emphasis on the interaction and the use of the language in real situations.
