About Mohit

Namaste! I’m a dedicated tabla artist and educator from the Banaras Gharana, currently pursuing my PhD in Tabla at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). I am UGC-NET qualified, hold a Master’s degree in Tabla, and have over 10 years of experience teaching students across all levels. My Musical Lineage: I've had the honor of learning under two revered gurus: Prof. Pravin Uddhav Ji, senior disciple of Padmshri Taalyogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar Ji Pt. Bholanath Mishra Ji, senior disciple of Padmabhushan Pt. Gudai Maharaj Ji Music flows through my family: My aunt, Vidushi Krishna Chakravarty, was the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts at BHU My mother, Vidushi Kaberi Bhaduri, served as the Head of the Music Department at Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS), BHU Their legacy inspires every beat I play and every student I teach.
