About Basima
Hello and Welcome! I’m 27 years old and have been teaching for 7 years in both public and private school systems across Canada. I’m also currently completing my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I’ve worked one-on-one with students both online and in person, teaching a wide range of subjects including Math, Science, Social Studies, English, Music, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Teaching is a huge passion of mine, and I truly believe that knowledge is power! Whether you’re a K–12 student needing support in English, grammar, or writing, a university student working on academic papers, or an adult learner looking to improve your English or explore piano and music theory, I’m here to help. My empathetic, engaging approach makes learning fun, accessible, and empowering—no matter your age or stage! When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me cooking or baking, playing the piano or ukulele, and spending quality time with my partner and our beloved fur babies.
