!Hola! My name is Leah. I am a qualified, trilingual teacher based in the UK. I have supported students aged 6-18 in the UK, Spain and Italy. I offer Spanish lessons tailored to your individual needs, whether you are a complete beginner, a GCSE or A-level student, a university learner, or someone who simply wants to improve their conversational skills for travel.
My lessons are research-informed, structured, and adapted to your learning style so you can build confidence and make visible progress.
Whether you need help with exam preparation, grammar, speaking practice or travel Spanish, I aim to make lessons engaging and enjoyable.

Using up-to-date pedagogy, my lessons focus on building confidence as well as language ability. They follow an 'exposure' theory. This means at the start of your learning you will receive meaningful input in the target language, and eventually move into producing this yourself. This method has proven long-term learning retention and is less cognitively demanding for the learner- meaning that lessons feel relaxed and fun.
We will work at your pace and focus on the areas that matter most to you, such as speaking, listening, grammar, reading or exam preparation.
Because of my teaching background my approach is research-driven, informed and adaptive. This means that during your lessons, I will make notes of successes, gaps and next steps to inform future learning. Individual interventions like this mean that you develop personalised and effective learning.
I am also a qualified NMH which means I am specialised in providing study skills and tutoring for neurodivergent learners. My experience and training provide me with a proven toolkit of techniques and tricks to support SEND needs.
Prior to lessons you will receive an outline of the learning plan/objectives. If you have booked multiple sessions, it will place you in the timeline of your learning so you can visualise your progress over time. After lessons you can receive my notes and my plans of action moving forward. You are just as involved in your learning as me and students find this inclusion incredibly motivating and purposeful.

• GCSE / A-level exam preparation with up-to-date curriculum knowledge
• help with homework or coursework including how to approach tasks
• pronunciation and listening skills
