About Ugo

I am a piano teacher with over 20 years’ teaching and performing experience. I have piano qualifications from Trinity College of London (ATCL), London College of Music (Dip LCM) and Associated Board (Dip ABRSM). I have taught children from 5 years up to Adults and am able to tailor lessons to the pupil’s level and learning style. I studied BA Digital Arts and sound & music recording at the London College of Music & Media at Thames Valley University. It was a course looking at all aspects of IT & Multimedia as well as musical composition and production. I graduated in November 2001. Since then, I have been teaching piano privately. I am classically trained and versatile in a number of styles including pop, blues, and gospel. I am a highly experienced and driven professional, comfortable leading, developing, and mentoring others to maximise performance, whether it be through 1-2-1/group lessons, accompanying other musicians or performing in bands and at special events like weddings. Ugo has been teaching my oldest son for the last 4 years boys. He now teaches all three of my boys (now aged 12, 10 and 6) on a weekly basis. My oldest is now working on his Grade 6 practical with Ugo. Ugo is a very punctual, professional tutor and my boys enjoy their lessons with him. He interacts well with them and I would recommend Ugo as a tutor to anyone who requires one.
