About Tasha
Hi there!
My name is Tasha. I recently graduated with a First in English from the University of Cambridge, and a High Distinction for my Masters in Gender Studies at SOAS. I have tutored a range of students in both English and History, including primary, KS3, GSCE, A Level, and university level. I have also taught English as a second language to a range of students, including adults, and have lots of experience of working with children and young people (I have a full and up to date DBS check). I can also help with admissions tests, personal statements and other applications.
I aim to bring in as much creativity as possible to my sessions. I am friendly and patient, and hope to make all my students feel comfortable. I strive to create a fun atmosphere, and have conversations with students about how they learn best, so that they get the most out of our sessions. I find out what the student enjoys, and to tailor sessions to their interests and strengths as much as possible. I always make sure that we cover the course syllabus, and work on essay writing, comprehension, revision and exam skills, and prepare for any coursework or other assessments.
