About Qi

Hello, I am 77.My English name is Vicky. I am from China and I am a qualified teacher with the Certificate for teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and the Senior Secondary School Chinese Teacher Qualification Certificate.
I am very passionate about teaching Chinese and love to exchange knowledge about different languages and cultures with students from different countries.
From 2016 to 2017, I taught Chinese in Thailand. After that,I pursued a Master's degree in International Chinese Education at Xiamen University. During this time, I spent one year working at the University of Novi Sad in Serbia as a Chinese language teacher. After completing my Master's degree, I taught Chinese for two years at Cardiff University in the UK and at a secondary school in North Wales.

I constantly update my knowledge to keep up with the times and use the latest and most effective teaching methods to create a better Chinese classroom. I also incorporate traditional Chinese culture and contemporary pop culture into every lesson, so that you can have a richer experience in my class. At the same time, I am very interested in linguistics and enjoy discussing relevant topics with my students.
No matter what your level is, you will have a more comprehensive understanding of Chinese language and a personal teaching plan will be developed according to your actual level and needs.
I will do my best to help you to reach your learning goals.
