About Flor
There is something I want you know...Anyone can learn a foreign language.
I'm a trained and experienced linguist passionate about languages and teaching.
I'm a native Spanish with a Master's Degree in French. I also hold a Institute of Linguist Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (English/Spanish).
My 30+ years of experience in the language field include:
* Private individual tuition of French and Spanish as a second language to both children and adults
* Mature learners
* GCSE, AS and A level Spanish
* Teacher of Spanish as a foreign Language for Inlingua School in Italy
* Experience as a translator and interpreter
* Experience in multilingual corporate positions.
I’m outgoing and patient, very committed to my work. I strive to create interactive lessons tailored to individual learning styles in a relaxed environment conducive to learning.
I believe with the right support and motivation anyone can learn a language. You don’t need to be a linguist, in fact, most of my students aren't. The only thing you need to learn a language is a willingness to learn and the right support.
I am particularly good at motivating students and help them believe in themselves and overcome self-limitations about their ability to get the grammar and speak. As a result, they are, for the 1st time, able to make progress and understand basic grammar concepts and structures that were keeping them stuck.
