About Caoimhe
My name is Caoimhe and I am currently studying Food and Agri-Business Management in University College Dublin. Since National School, I have always loved Irish and I have to admit it was one of my favourite subjects in school. I have attended the Gaeltacht many times while I was in school where I went to Coláiste na Rinne in Co. Waterford, Coláiste Chonnacht in Co. Galway and Coláiste Laighean in Co. Wexford. I have since returned to Coláiste Laighean where I have worked as a cinnire. I also participated in the sruth from First to Third Year in Secondary School where I studied and sat a number of my Junior Certificate exams through Irish. As a result of this, I have plenty of experience with this language.

I completed my Leaving Certificate in June 2022 where I obtained a H1 in Irish. I am interested in giving grinds to school students of all levels who are struggling with Irish whether that’s primary school or both the Junior and Leaving Certificate exams. I have experience with various methods of learning this material when I was studying and I would only love to share these with other students in need. My grinds would consist of hour-long classes covering a set amount of topics per grind and any requests would be greatly accepted and appreciated. However, as the courses for both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate are currently under review, my content would be based on practical and universal topics of the Irish language.
