About Asim
I am a recent HL Leaving Cert Math graduate and would like to help LC and JC students do their absolute best in their exams.
Sitting the exams recently has given me a first hand experience with the current curriculum and how exam questions are worded as my year has had the hardest LC Higher Level Math Paper yet. I understand mathematical theory and can give huge tips and advice for high pressure and timing within the exam and how to pick up on attempt marks.
Math is a huge passion of mine and I have loved it ever since I started doing it, my tests during school have consistently been H1s and H2s and I find it exhilarating being able to solve the most complex of problems. I understand how stressful it can be to manage solving these and getting timings right in exams but I want to make that much easier for anyone who is willing to learn.
No matter what year you are in or what type of student you are, I will adapt my teaching to suit your needs and make math as approachable and logical as it can get to help you understand everything about the subject.

Leaving Cert:
5th Years - Lesson length will be up to the student / Guardian.
5th year is heavily focused on getting through content without focusing on exam technique and retention.
My lessons will be composed of;
Revision of previous class
Going through topics one by one and looking at tricky questions
Allowing the student to understand the theory behind the topics
More focus on content to learn the basis of the topics
Rigorous exam question technique to prepare for difficult questions.
6th Year - Important to solidify knowledge and implement into exam style questions
Lessons will stay similar to 5th Year but be more exam question oriented and when finished the course, fully focused on exam questions, techniques and understanding.
Junior Cert:
There will be extremely heavy focus on algebra to grasp the basics of maths.
Lessons will consist of;
Review of previous lesson
Content oriented grinding
Huge focus on algebraic equations and practise questions
Review of full lesson and practise question for homework
This will slowly transition to exam style questions and other content when approaching mid 3rd Year
