About Jessica
As a legal professional, I write all day, every day. I studied writing in college at The University of Texas at Austin, and have experience in most forms of publication, including scientific research papers, drafting legislation, journalism, poetry, and persuasive writing. I believe that writing is one of the most valuable skills to have. Every individual needs to know how to communicate clearly and effectively, no matter their occupation.

I accept students for any style of writing. My most common request is for SAT and ACT writing preparation, or AP English Language tutoring, but I accommodate college students looking to improve their writing skills, individuals looking to learn a new style of writing, and even younger students learning the basics of writing and the English language. I tailor each lesson to my student’s invidividual needs and skill level. Every new client’s first lesson includes an orientation session where we develop a personal lesson plan for the student’s success together. After the initial session, I will assign practice prompts, give short instructional lectures, work through specific assignments given by the student’s other instructors, and provide various activities for the student based on their needs.
