About Ileana

I am a passionate tutor of Italian A Levels, Italian GCSE, Italian IB with over ten years of private tutoring experience.

My biggest satisfaction is bringing most of my students to achieve top marks in the subject while enjoying our lessons together.

My teaching approach is very flexible as I believe that every student is different and may need support in specific areas (where others may not), which I strive to test and improve as lessons take place.

As I start teaching a new student, I investigate on those areas where he/she may prove weaker than others and I ask the student to keep exercising on those while having the lesson.By being present during the student learning process, I can actually doublecheck whether the exercises are executed correctly and whether any student's existing doubt needs further clarification prior to leaving any homework yet related to the topic.

So far as I can confirm from my past students' reviews, they had felt much more confident in handling homework succesfully, following a lesson,despite being alone in doing those.This also led strong basis to tackle mock tests as some more lessons were taken.

Ultimately, most of my students have achieved an A at the final exam.

GCSE (Maths, Science Geography,English, Italian). Achieved in Italy at secondary school "G.Garibaldi-Palermo"
