About Ravi

Hello,
I am Ravi J. Gupta. I have done M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Mumbai with A grade. I have done project work at TIFR (Mumbai), Department of Nuclear and Atomic Physics. I was working on Lanthanum Bromide Array. That's why I have a good knowledge of detectors.
During my M.Sc. my electives were Nuclear structure, Experimental techniques in Nuclear Physics, Accelerator and Beam Physics, and Particle Physics. Due to this, I have good knowedge of Quantum mechanics and Electrodynamics. And my main area of interest is Nuclear Physics.
I have qualified IIT JAM Exam two times.
I have done my B.Sc.(Physics) from D.G. Ruparel college which is one of the best colleges for Physics in Mumbai.
I am also interested in making physics models, during my B.Sc. we have made a device using which you can charge your mobile phone just by paddling a cycle.
I also have an interest in Astronomy. During my B.Sc. I used to go as a volunteer at the sky observation events organized by Khagol Mandal(Sion, Mumbai). My job was to show the stellar objects to everyone by telescope.
My main goal in life is to be a Scientist. And that is why I am currently preparing for the entrance exam for BARC scientific officer.
Other than this I am also preparing for JSET, TIFR, NET, GATE. As qualifying any one of them will give me the opportunity to get into the Research Institute.
Other Hobbies And Interests:
Love doing Workout, Cylicing and Yoga.
Travelling and Trekking.
Mobile Photography.
Cooking.
I am currently working as a Trekking leader.

About the lesson

I will be using a different approach depending on the topics. For example, I will be showing you animation for some topic, sometimes I will show some models depending on the topic.

I believe that understanding the subject is more important than merely completing it for the sake of exams. That is why we will give sufficient time to each topic and after that, we will immediately solve problems based on them. Because in Physics problem solving is a very important part to get a deeper understanding.

Other than this we will be having a test on every topic that we have covered just so that you will gain more confidence by giving the test. And after every tests we will have discussion on the test as my main motive as tutor is solve all of your doubts regarding Physics.
