About Kensaku
I'm a professional language teacher with 16 years of teaching experience as an English teacher in Japan and a Japanese teacher overseas.
Graduated from Columbia University with the highest GPA(3.86). Currently a Ph.D. student and a Japanese language instructor at McGill.
Areas of studies: English education, English teacher education, Linguistics, Psychology, Neuroscience, Psychological education.

I utilize different methods/approaches depending on each learner. I make the most of the Modern Communicative Approach, CLIL Approach, Task-Based Language Teaching, Writing-Diary Process, etc.
For example, for learners who want to improve her/his communicative skills, I will make much of the communicative approach, or if the learner hopes to brush up their pronunciation level, I will employ the phonological approach. I'm very flexible with plenty of needs which, I believe, can be achieved by my 15-year teaching experience.
