Hello, My name is Latania. I love learning, traveling and understanding people and different cultures.
So many children need love, reassurance and attention, and I strive to be that person that builds them up when no one else ever has. I want to not only tell, but show my students that with commitment and hard work, they are capable of anything and can be anything that they want to be. I hope to create a safe place for the students, where teamwork and empathy are rewarded just as enthusiastically as a good test score. I have worked as an educator for 5 years. As a Graduate in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of the West Indies, I have the necessary academic background to be a competent contributor to your learning. I possess a strong track record of planning and implementing a dynamic curriculum. I incorporate fun learning and foster a warm, nurturing, and fun atmosphere conducive to learning. I developed strong, lasting relationships with parents and children.
