About Cameron
I have an MA in English Literature and a BA in English Literature from the University of Sussex, and a TESOL certificate. I taught adult English for four years, in Brighton. I have loved literature since I was a teenager, especially Shakespeare. Lessons are calm and practical. We read the set text, find a clear argument, and get it onto the page. I am based in Brighton and Hove and also teach online.

Lessons are for GCSE and A-level English Literature, and for essay writing at those levels. A usual hour is the set text, one past-paper question, and a paragraph plan you can reuse. Shakespeare is the text I know best: Macbeth at GCSE, Hamlet at A-level, plus the other plays if they are on your paper. I also cover unseen analysis and timed writing. I do not teach by rote. You leave with notes you can use in the exam, not a lecture. The first hour is free, so we can look at a recent essay or a topic you are stuck on and see if it is a fit. Online, or in Brighton and Hove.
