About Aarushi
Hi! My name is Aarushi, and I’m a gap year student who loved studying English at school and want to help others who are finding it a bit challenging. I really enjoy analysing texts and seeing students become more and more passionate about the subject as they understand it more; I’m also aware of how difficult it is to know the correct structure for essays, and am here to help. I have taught at many levels, and have also taught special needs students (mainly those with ADHD) and am here to support you however you need.

Initially, I will go through a text chapter by chapter and analyse it alongside you, encouraging you to form your own opinions and interpretations. Later, I will set you a list of basic pre-reading questions to use to analyse a chapter of the text prior to our lesson, which we will go through together.
If you struggle to understand your teacher’s analysis in school, I can help you unpack it; similarly, I can help you level up your own analysis so that you are ready to tackle unseen passages in exams!
We will also go through essay planning together, timed and untimed, and I will teach you the fool-proof essay structure that got me a 9 in my GCSEs and almost 100% in my A Levels.
In the final stages of our lessons, I will set you multiple essays to complete as homework, which I will mark and go through with you.
