About Leonie
Simply put, I love stories. As an aspiring actor and screenwriter, writing and literature has always been a huge part of my life. However, I also have a knack for finding patterns and making sure I’m always doing things in the easiest possible way. You could call it lazy, but you can’t disagree with the results. I’m keen to give my found knowledge to those who might benefit from it, as it’s not as difficult as it seems to get top grades whilst having a technical understanding of the works that isn’t any greater than your classmates.With English, it’s all in the way you convey that knowledge, not necessarily how in-depth that knowledge is. Hopefully through making the subject just a bit less dread-inducing, I can inspire at least one person to find enjoyment in the reading of literature, rather than finding it a chore as many do.

As a student myself, I know how difficult it can be to apply what you know to the test format. It seems impossible to know what you may have to write about in exams, and hard to fluently convey your knowledge onto the paper. Having achieved top grades at GCSE and predicted an A* at A-level, I think I have some useful tips and tricks to elevate your writing up a couple of grade boundaries with very little effort! These tips are tried and tested, and with a wide knowledge of texts myself, I’ll be sure to be able to apply my techniques to whichever texts you’re working on!
