About Amy
I am a 2nd year A-level student, currently studying A-level History, along with English Literature and Film. With previous experience as an English tutor; I know how to make sessions lively and interactive-helping to spark your own curiosity, passion for and interest in the subject-potentially beyond the GCSE syllabus. The areas that I studied for GCSE and therefore have the most knowledge of are: Crime & Punishment, Early Elizabethan England, Superpower Relations & the Cold War and Weimar & Nazi Germany.

I have achieved an A** (Grade 9) in GCSE History, and am currently working at a grade prediction of an A in History A-level. Besides this, I have experience as a tutor and enjoy making lively and interactive lessons in order to help bring the subject to life. As well as this, I also work closely with students and their teachers and/or parents in order to tailor lessons specifically to their goals and strengths (whilst also challenging them to work outside of their comfort zone) in order to make more personalised lesson plans that will allow students to quickly and easily reach their goals- both personal and academic. Lessons will typically be 60-75 minutes in the week, with Saturdays offering flexibility for longer lessons if needed.
