About Maryana
Hi! I’m currently studying A-Level Politics, Psychology, and English, with plans to pursue Law at university. I’ve loved literature from a young age and want to share that passion by helping others enjoy and excel in English too! I achieved strong grades (7 and 8) in my English GCSEs — despite facing unforeseen challenges at the time — which showed me how much resilience and determination can achieve. I now want to help my students unlock that same confidence in their own abilities. I offer tutoring for 11+, Year 6 SATs, and GCSE English exams. I mainly tutor online but can tutor in person depending on the distance, location and timings. As a family-oriented person, I work especially well with children and take pride in creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment. I focus on building confidence and strengthening key skills, helping each student reach their full potential. My lessons include tailored activities and worksheets, and I provide weekly homework to reinforce knowledge and track progress. I take the time to understand each child’s individual needs, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. This personalised approach ensures that every student feels supported, challenged, and motivated to achieve the best possible results.
