About Maci
I am currently studying English literature at Northumbria university. I just finished my A levels which were ; Chemistry, Biology and English Literature. My final (Covid) grades were ABC
From the ages 12-17 I lived in Dubai where I completed my GCSEs with grades ranging C-A**.
Whilst in Dubai I tutored for a range of age groups as shown in my CV, I also volunteered often within my community.
I also have experience tutoring in the UK.

Previously I have tutored mainly GCSE students in the following subjects; PE, Biology, Physics,Chemistry, English and History. Along with that I also tutored a student in year 3, aiding her in becoming confident in crucial math skills. My approach to tutoring is not just academic but holistic. As a student myself I feel that building a relationship with the student is crucial to ensure a critical level of respect is present. This allows me to focus on the teaching at hand, not discipline. I like to keep my classes active and conversational, relating the topics to real life where possible. I also love a good pun or acronym when possible.
