About Amy
I have two degrees, a Bachelor of Science in English Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I hold a current valid GA teaching certificate, and I have 11+ years of experience in the classroom. I have successfully tutored students in SAT, ACT, and AP as well as in essay and creative writing. I give significant feedback and love to see the growth in my students.

I have a relational approach to teaching. I am patient and will go with you step by step through the process. I believe all my students are capable of success and just need to learn the skills to get there. I am a process-oriented teacher with a growth mindset. It's not that you can't do it; it's that you are learning and just aren't there yet! My ultimate goal is to teach in a way that produces learners who understand the concepts and skills and therefore no longer need my services.
