About Devon
Hello, it's so nice to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to read about me. My name is Devon and I am a 31 year old teacher from Wisconsin. Some things I love are the outdoors, sports, animals, music, gardening, and great food! I may also dabble in a few types of video games on a rainy day. I love to form deep connections with others and I like to think I have a good sense of humor.

It is extremely important to me that I first establish a trusting relationship with my students. I approach my lessons with a very analytical approach and work towards understanding the root of the problem and addressing that first. I use zoom to meet with clients virtually and can teach to the specific content your student is struggling with or I can create my own lessons based on what you are seeking help on.
I believe that my ability to connect with others sets me apart from other tutors. My intuition, curiosity, and genuine interest in helping others feel successful guide my practice in teaching. My approach is more than surface level connection, I want to support each person as a whole and not just another student.
