About Lina Shazlina
Merhaba! I teach Turkish. But more importantly, I understand exactly what it's like to learn it here in Malaysia. My method is simple , I use the languages you already know English and Malay to help you truly understand Turkish. Some Turkish grammar rules just don't make sense if I explain them only in English. And explaining them only in Malay can be even harder. It’s like a puzzle piece that doesn’t fit. You grew up learning English through Malay. Your brain is already expert at connecting languages. We’re going to use that skill! Sometimes, a Malay way of thinking is actually closer to how Turkish works. We can use that as a shortcut. Sometimes, English gives us the perfect word to name a grammar rule, so we can talk about it clearly.

Malay
The best way to learn a language is to live in its country. Since we're in Malaysia, that's tough! So, forcing a strict "Turkish-only" class can actually slow you down and cause frustration. My way is more practical. We speak lots of Turkish in class for practice. When you hit a confusing wall of grammar, I quickly use English or Malay to explain it clearly. Then we immediately go back to Turkish to use that new rule. This way, you don't get stuck. You understand the "why" behind the language, which makes you learn much faster. Once the grammar makes sense, everything else reading, listening, writing, and speaking becomes easier and feels more natural.
