About Lindsey
I am a trained linguist with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, a minor in Psychology, a Diversity Studies certificate, and a TEFL certification. My academic foundation is in how language develops and actually works — structurally, socially, and cognitively — not just how to memorize.
I have worked across education, public communications, admissions, and client-facing roles, where clear language and professional presence directly impact opportunity. Through those experiences, I saw a consistent pattern: many intelligent people struggle not because they lack knowledge, but because they lack structured expression and communicative confidence.
That realization is what led me to teach.
Language shapes perception. It influences how seriously we are taken, how clearly we are understood, and how confidently we move through academic and professional environments. I teach because I care deeply about helping people close the gap between what they know internally and what they can express externally.
My background in psychology allows me to understand learning patterns, performance anxiety, and confidence barriers. My linguistics training allows me to break down language precisely and efficiently. My professional experience ensures that what we practice applies to real-world situations.
