Linux, basic Programming (scripting), Bioinformatics and Computational Biology- An introduction to biologists.

I worked with Aravind over the summer of 2019, on a project dealing with Molecular Dynamics Simulations. Since I had absolutely no background of bioinformatics nor structural biology, he taught me all the basic concepts from scratch. His passion for the subject instilled in me a drive to explore the various domains of bioinformatics as well as structural biology. He's incredibly patient and enthusiastic when it comes to teaching new things and can break down the most complex ideas to simple terms, which works really well if you can grasp these concepts quickly. I assure you that if you take his classes, you're not only signing up for a good deal of knowledge, but also a bundle of fun because he's super cheerful and active!
