About Selena
My name is Selena; I am currently working with the school board. I have experience working with students of all ages and helping them with literacy, punctuation, reading, paragraphs, essays, and much more. I am patient, funny, caring, supportive, and fun to work with. I enjoy working with students and helping them with anything they need help with. I am able to work online or in person; I am easy on anything you are comfortable with.

My teaching experience I would use to teach my students is I would make writing fun and creative. I would let my students read any book they would like to read and see where they are at in reading levels. My lesson plans would look like: Reading: I would have different books that my students could choose from, and I would sit with them and listen to them read. If they are stuck on a word, I would help them sound it out. Writing: The story that my students have to read I would make them write what happened in the story. Example (who, what, where, when, why, how) I would also let them write their own story and have them read it to see if it makes sense to them, so they can learn. I currently work in the school board, so I have lots of experience working with students of all ages. Helping students with reading and writing. I am able to teach grade 1 to grade 9.
