About Erica
I like to play a lot of sports, especially surfing, weight lifting, running, and golf. Although I go to college in California, every summer break I go back to Japan and see friends and family to catch up, but also to brush up on my Japanese. In Japan, I graduated high school with a sociology major. I also had a scholarship for English. I love to socialize and connect with people, I get a lot of energy from that.

Since I'm fluent in Japanese, I like to teach beginner, intermediate, and up to 7th grade level Japanese. I like to first start off the lesson with a review, then go into new material, and end the lesson with a small review and what we are going to do next class, maybe do a little game that relates to the lesson as well. My favorite part about teaching is connecting with the students and seeing them improve each lesson.
