About Philippa

Hi there! My name is Philippa, and I am a London-based Tutor, specialising in Classics, Latin and History.

I studied Classics at the University of Cambridge from 2012-2015, and have been tutoring and teaching since I was 16 years old. I have experience in a wide variety of tutoring subjects, and have taught children, university applicants and adults. I am happy to tutor either in person, or over Skype.

I have taught English as a foreign language to groups of Chinese School Children, aged 4-18 in Beijing, in a series of summer camps; I worked to overcome language barriers and created engaging lesson plans to entertain the children. I have also done university tutoring, working with students on their (successful) applications to Oxbridge; we worked on interview practice, and subject specific questions.
