About John
I have spent decades as a journalist and an adjunct college professor. I specialize in helping students write cleanly (error free), clearly and concisely. Often the most effective writing is the least complicated. It is all about gaining confidence and practice. Anyone can be a writing superstar.

As an adjunct professor working with students who often do not have strong writing skills, I don't simply tell students what to do. I help them understand why they are doing it. When students develop the critical thinking skills to solve the problems and understand meaning, the world of writing suddenly becomes less scary.
Nothing gets me more excited than seeing students gain confidence and become better writers.
