About Eleanor
To whom it may concern,
I am currently looking for work in the education sector as nothing seems more suitable than to help others in academia as I further my own. Having completed the whole of Religious Studies (RS) AS and A2 level in 5 months with a private tutor on my gap year, I have learned not only the rewarding nature in teaching yet also the importance of a good relationship with students. My RS tuition taught me the quick-passed nature of tutoring, as well highly improving my knowledge of essay writing and how to utilise mark schemes, the syllabus and past papers.
This summer I was given the opportunity to teach online, granting me experience in teaching English as a second language to children between the ages of 8-13. I am now able to use online tutoring software extremely well, something which I believe to be a vital factor in engaging the student when it comes to lessons. With this in mind, in collusion with both the efficient and rewarding nature of online teaching, tutoring is perfect to do alongside my degree (Classics with English Literature at King's College London, Second Year BA).
