About Peter

I am an experienced tutor with a Master's degree from Columbia University. Since my high school days, I've been tutoring and helping friends, peers, or students of all ages with academic content. I have specialised in SAT and ACT prep, and I'm happy to share my knowledge with you! I'm very calm and encouraging, and I will make the student feel comfortable and supported.

About the lesson

I have 10 years of experience of tutoring SAT and ACT students who have successfully applied to colleges in the US and were accepted to their first choices. I lived and worked in the Tristate area in the US -- New York City and State, Connecticut, and New Jersey, and tutored dozens of students aiming for prestigious schools. I bring expertise of the system, the test formats, strategies and approaches needed, and lots of official and third party materials to help with the prep. I recommend 2h sessions for best productivity, but happy to do 1h or more.

Perfect! Peter is super experienced and very responsive. He sets prep work before the sessions and then follows up to both parent and student on specific progress. Very organised and little is required from parents as he liaises with the student direct. A great tutor that we would highly recommend! We were very happy to find him as it was third time lucky....
