About Tomsinime
I am an English and Literature tutor with a strong academic foundation and extensive teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies and a Master’s degree in Literature in English. I have taught in classrooms for about five years and tutored online for over two years, using designated and standard curricula and audiovisuals to make lessons interactive and effective. Across these roles, I have taught pupils, secondary school students, and adults in both group and one-on-one settings.
Previously, I worked as a Facilitator at Creative Xpressions International Learning Centre in Yenagoa, where I supported children and adults in literacy development through reading, writing, and comprehension practice.
In addition to professional roles, I have volunteered with the Forward Falls Initiative in Abuja, teaching Literature and Oral English to over 100 JAMB/UTME candidates, and with Spelling Bee Bayelsa, where I compile word lists, coordinate participants, and support event publicity. As learning never ends, I hope to continue down this road, and create a world where learners achieve their desired goals and aspirations in life.

Currently, I serve as the Founder and CEO of Blooming Pen World, where I provide personalized English tutoring for Grades 2–11 students in Canada. My work includes teaching core English skills and preparing students for standardized exams such as the SSAT, where learners consistently score above 80% after targeted coaching. I design and track assessments, provide constructive feedback, and help students build confidence alongside strong academic performance.
