About Brooke

I am an enthusiastic saxophone teacher with 10 years of tutoring experience and a strong student success record of nearly 300 learners. I teach students from high school, college, and adults who are serious about learning music. My teaching style is simple, friendly, and well-organized. I focus on building solid basics in breathing control, finger positioning, rhythm, and sound quality. These fundamentals help students play smoothly and confidently. I guide students through exercises, scales, songs, and performance preparation.

I also teach basic music theory, sight reading, and ear training. Many of my students have performed on stage for the first time with confidence after joining my classes. Several of my students have received appreciation from teachers and audience members. Some have also scored high in practical music exams. My goal is to help every student enjoy music while growing step by step.

About the lesson

My saxophone teaching methodology is based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I believe every student can become a confident musician with the right guidance and encouragement. My lessons are well-structured, goal-focused, and flexible based on each student’s learning pace.

Motivation is built through positive feedback, regular progress tracking, and performance-based goals. I help students stay inspired and consistent in their practice. Communication plays a key role in my teaching. I explain every technique clearly and encourage students to ask questions freely.

Integrity guides my instruction. I focus strongly on correct posture, breathing technique, embouchure strength, finger control, tone quality, scale practice, rhythm accuracy, articulation, and music reading. Students are guided honestly and patiently so they develop strong habits from the start.

Creativity is developed through improvisation, creative warm-ups, song learning, and backing tracks. Students explore jazz, pop, blues, and classical styles. Along with saxophone, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm training, and basic composition. My goal is to shape confident, disciplined, and expressive saxophone players.
