About Bernice
I am a young and energetic Math teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching mainly primary school students. I am passionate about helping children discover the joy of learning and seeing their confidence grow over time. I believe that every child has potential, even when they don’t yet see it in themselves. My role as a teacher is to guide, encourage, and believe in them until they start believing in their own abilities. I use a reward-based system to motivate students and create a positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn — not reasons for punishment.

I use the CPA approach (Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract) to help students build a strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics. There will be hands-on learning & games included in a 1.5 hour lesson. I have over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics to primary and secondary school students. My lessons are designed for children aged 6 to 12 years old — from lower to upper primary levels.
