About Manuel

For more than 40 years I have been playing chess, but it was not long ago that I decided to devote myself to teaching the knowledge I have acquired in so many years. The social order of any teaching system, usually is to train and prepare man for life, to instruct and educate him to live in society, making him an individual capable of interacting with the social environment, where he participates in the construction of the society in which he lives and develops, with moral ethics and acquired values that demonstrate a high civic level. Chess does not escape these intentions in addition to the purposes of achieving victories in competitions.

About the lesson

I am Manuel Barea I am 48 years old and I am a federated teacher FADA Chess Teacher for Children since 3 years old I started playing chess when I was 6 years old. It is a sport-art that I am very good at teaching and especially to children and teenagers. I love chess. It is a sport that in the first steps should be learned as a fun strategy game that promotes the development of creativity, intuition, memory and decision-making capacity. To be a great chess player you have to get to understand the essence of this sport, to add to your competitive heritage intelligence, chess culture, security and tenacity in the quest for victory. All children can become one.
