About Borris Lordson

As your tutor, my purpose is to empower you with clarity and confidence through a structured, adaptive, and student-focused approach. I combine Socratic questioning with clear conceptual breakdowns to build deep understanding, not just memorization. Each session is tailored to your goals, focusing on collaborative problem-solving and teaching you how to learn for long-term success. I specialize in guiding high school, undergraduate, and graduate students who are determined to excel in challenging subjects, from STEM to humanities. My commitment is to provide expert, judgment-free support in a professional environment where your curiosity is nurtured and your academic growth is the top priority. I am dedicated to helping you unlock your full potential and achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My approach is all about clarity and conversation. I focus on asking questions to find the root of your confusion and then explain concepts using simple, relatable analogies. A typical session starts by identifying your biggest hurdle, then we tackle it together through guided problem solving, ending with a clear recap.
What makes me different is my adaptability; I tailor my examples to what you find interesting and focus on teaching you how to think, not just what to think. My lessons are for anyone who needs help from high school students to professionals especially if you feel lost in a big class or want to move beyond memorization to true understanding.
