About Savita
With over 8 years of experience in architecture, specializing in Sustainable Design, Urban Planning, and Historic Preservation, I am passionate about shaping the built environment and preparing university students for impactful careers. My journey began with a deep-seated fascination for architectural design and its potential to influence communities positively. This passion drives me to provide tailored lessons that not only cover essential theoretical concepts but also emphasize practical applications through real-world projects.
Outside of architecture, I find inspiration in various creative pursuits and outdoor activities. I am an avid sketcher, constantly refining my artistic skills to better visualize architectural concepts. I also enjoy exploring urban landscapes, studying how historical preservation and sustainable design principles can be integrated to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of modern cities. In my spare time, I unwind by hiking scenic trails, where I draw inspiration from nature's forms and structures, influencing my architectural perspectives.
In my teaching approach, I prioritize collaboration and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore innovative solutions to architectural challenges. Whether guiding through studio projects or preparing for presentations, I strive to instill a holistic understanding of architecture that combines technical proficiency with a deep appreciation for cultural and environmental contexts.
