About Adam

Master of CV building. Previously a Store Manager of some of London's most luxurious retail stores. Managing 20-30 people at a time. Reviewing CV's daily and playing a big part in the recruitment of said companies.
I have created staff training programmes for my companies, held training meetings with my peers, created important templates for my companies and have done regular proof reading for highly important emails and letters for the Creative Director of Aspinal of London.

About the lesson

CV BUILDING:

I ask for a detailed paragraph or have a detailed discussion via phone, email, text or WhatsApp with the candidate regarding experience and responsibilities for all previous work, jobs or education the candidate has done.
I do detailed and thorough research on the companies that my client has worked for.
I then collate all the information I have gathered in order to build a compelling and accurate CV that will stand out to employers and peak maximum interest in the candidate in question.
I will write a concise profile that accurately highlights a person's skills whilst using buzz words and sentence techniques that I've learned through my experience in recruiting, interviewing and hiring.

INTERVIEW PREPERATION:

Firstly, in my own time, I will request a job specification for the company and the specific role that my client is interviewing for.
I do thorough research on the company and position the candidate is applying for before creating a mock interview. This first part of the interview involves asking the candidate to present as the interviewer. Through this process the candidate can gauge how to best respond to likely questions in the interview. In the second step, the roles are reversed and I interview said candidate, adding questions that I have personally prepared. This gives my client a strong idea on how the interview should be approached. This final step involves guiding them through the interview over and over again, polishing certain aspects of the interview until I am happy that my client is going in to the interview fully prepared and putting their best foot forward.
Mock interview meetings can be done at either a local Cafe or via Skype or FaceTime.
I set no time limits for the meetings, I do not end the meeting until I and the candidate are both completely confident that the candidate has all the tools provided to execute the best interview possible.
