About Ariel
Throughout my career, I have taught a diverse range of subjects, including Mathematics, Science (Physics and Chemistry), and Statistics. Prior to this, I earned a Master of Science in Education, specializing in Secondary Mathematics, from Caraga State University, Philippines.
My international teaching experience has exposed me to various pedagogical approaches such as differentiation, inquiry-based learning, activity-based learning, and traditional methods. I have found that employing a variety of instructional strategies effectively addresses the diverse needs of students, promoting engagement and understanding across different learning styles.
In addition to classroom instruction, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities, serving as a coach for music, sports (including basketball and sepak takraw), and the Math Club. These roles have enhanced my ability to build rapport with students and foster teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.
I am also a licensed teacher, having passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) with a major in Secondary Mathematics in September 2011 (Professional License No. 1109979). Furthermore, in May 2019, I was accepted as a Cambridge Examiner for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics under specialist number 814630, which has enhanced my assessment and evaluation skills.
