About Pattabiramann
I enjoy teaching, especially mathematics. Along with teaching, I want to impart in whoever I teach an outlook of the subject that is engaging, intuitive and fun.
I am a Masters student at the University of Windsor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. My Bachelors was in SRMIST under the B.Tech program in Electronics and Communication Engineering, where I was passionately active on tutoring Math and Science privately as well as tutoring Math, Science and English for children from impoverished backgrounds free of cost.
I also have done/was involved in a number of projects, patents and paper publications. This enables me to give relevant applicable knowledge combined with anything I teach, which will be of tremendous use to anyone learning under me, since 'selling' ideas and education is a very useful skill to have for asserting credibility.
Learning should be full of curiosity, creativity, enjoyment, contentment and freedom, all of which I aim to inspire in the people I train. I aspire to build a 'sense' of the subject in students, and help them enjoy the learning experience thereby hoping to create and/or improve the positive mindset the students have toward anything new.

I start the session with riddles and/or real life problems to give the students a feel of what they're about to learn.
I have a session of guided practice and homework which is made of homework problems(mandatory) and special homework with research elements(voluntary).
The concept is then practiced extensively.
I give ample feedback after keen attention is given to work both done in class and work done at home to assess the strengths and the weaknesses of the students.
I constantly interact with the class with simple questions.
With the consent of students, I can set up an award system of 'Points' to induce motivation and light competition, where points are just playful numbers given as compliments.
