About Timothy

I am one of the top competitors in Excel, reaching the last 16 of the 2023 World Championships and multiple top-five finishes in Excel battles. I also have a world ranking of 24 in financial modeling. For my day job, I am a Chartered Accountant doing auditing with over ten years of experience. When I was in intermediate school, I started teaching computer skills as an assistant to my Dad and have grown my skills and knowledge from there. I am considered an expert in Excel at my work and the person people turn to ask for advice when they have Excel questions. I am also happy to help people with Google Sheets. Outside of work, I enjoy being active; in particular, I love touch rugby and skiing. Escape rooms and board games also have a special place in my heart.

About the lesson

Microsoft Excel is an incredibly versatile tool—often called the second-best tool for almost anything. If you’re looking to maximize its potential, this lesson is for you.

I customize my teaching approach to each student’s needs, recognizing that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. To make the most of our time, I focus on the specific areas of Excel that interest you. I work best with self-motivated learners who are eager to improve, as I can guide and support those who want to learn.

My expertise includes formulas, pivot tables, graphs, and more. However, I don’t teach macros, VBA, or coding. That said, I’m happy to help with Google Sheets as well!
