About Isabelle

I was born and raised in France, where I began my teaching career before moving to California over 25 years ago. My personal experience as a foreigner learning English in a new country has shaped the way I teach. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate unfamiliar sounds, grammar, and cultural expectations—and I use that empathy to support my students with patience, clarity, and encouragement. Language learning isn’t just academic; it’s emotional, social, and deeply personal. Over the years, I’ve taught in France and the U.S., worked in customer service and education, and built a life across those two cultures. I’m known for my professionalism, warmth, and strategic approach. Whether you're learning French for travel, school, work, or personal enrichment, I’ll guide you with respect and a commitment to your success.
